Hi,

Anyone using the verify email feature in this plugin in Scrapebox?

I'm trying to verify email list with advance method but when I click test port 25, it would say not able to access mail server.

I tried with my Gmail as well as my private email. Both fail.

Anyone knows what I need to do?

Thanks.

Maybe its the mail server, because I had error, a few days ago on the windows pc, but it was weird, because it worked once I restarted but just once.

Does ScrapeBox have the ability to scan posts/cmts of a member in a certain forum. Then output to a text file?

Thats to do with your ISP, so your ISP is blocking port 25. So you can ring them and ask them to unblock it. If they do great, if not they will often sell you business internet which has port 25 unblocked.

Else your options are

1 - get a server/vps as most of them have port 25 unblocked by default

2 - try a different port. This may work, but results will vary as port 25 is the best and highest success.

@loopline Do you have any thoughts on what could be wrong with the proxies in the email scraper plugin? I have tested adding 2 different proxy types - rotating proxies and also your standard proxies that can be bought from https://stormproxies.com and the basic proxies from buyproxies.org... I cannot get the backconenct proxies to work at all with the email premium plugin so any thoughts there would be great (i have followed all of the instructions from storm proxies on setting it up for scrapebox too just fyi).. I can at least "test" the "standard" proxies in scrapebox and those work with the "URL" scraper and I get the green colored "PASS: IP hidden" for all of them, which tells me they work and work ok for the URL scraper... but when I open the premium plugin and "pull from SB" for those proxies, the extended email search takes about 3 minutes per email (though it does say "using proxies to check email" for that time), and then "error testing email" for all of them..... I have also checked port 25 and thats ok with my added email in there.. So im wondering, is there some other setting to be aware of in setting up proxies for scrapebox email verifier plugin that I am not doing? SOCKS or something in the connections and configurations tab? Any help here is greatly appreciated guys! Spent all day trying to figure it out so far lol! Thanks!

You are talking about the email verifier it sounds like?

the proxies your talking about don't allow port 25, you would need sepecific proxies that allow port 25. Or use not proxies and use a delay if needed.

Yes excatly @loopline ! using the email verifier. How do I obtain proxies that allow for port 25? Any thoughts there? yeah I have tried a few times without proxies but the emai lgets blacklisted about 200 emails through every time... I'll try with the delay feature as well... but im also interested in port 25 proxies if you have a good source! Thanks!

I don't have a good source.

So long as the emails are publicly visible with javascript off and without having to be logged into linkedin. So you can test by making sure your browser that you are not logged in and then turning off javascript. Then load a page that has an email, if you can see the email, scrapebox probably can to and thus it can extract it.

@loopline
Thanks for the help!.... Another quick question sorry... How exactly does the email verification tool work at the server level? Does it send actual emails to the email addresses? I think I have a source for port 25 proxies but they asked specifically, can you check with scrapebox and see if their email verification "pings" the MX record or whatnot, vs "sends an email" to verify...

I guess that matters to them.

Thanks!

@loopline What is in your opinion the best way (the best ESP) to send email out to all the scraped email addresses? Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign? They don't like imported lists. Thanks

It does not send the emails. It goes out and does ever single step short of actually transmitting the actual message.

I don't have a good answer for you there.

Can please share which source provides port 25 open for email verification checks with ScrapeBox?
