WP word count alternative?

What is some nice alternatives to this one?

Last time I checked there is none as good as that, everything else just shows the count in the posts pages for each. Not a dashboard. I'm, planning on buying that plugin in the next couple of months, as I have the free version on many of my sites already, but its only $99 for the better unlimited sites version now I think every year, which is a bargain if you have a few sites, and you want an easy way to monitor stats.

Ahh okay, I just checked their site. For me the $59 plan for 5 sites could work out, but sad to pay that for 3 sites I use

Yeah, until you need anymore then why pay more? if you try @Richichi and that doesn't work and nobody suggests anything, I think because most people who use this plugin haven't noticed a problem with it, but for new installs its yet to have a dev catch up on a free good alternative that rivals that one in terms of aesthetics. Nice business model though, get them in the door with the free product for years, and then cut that out, and only handle the paying customers going forward. Less unpaid hassle from the community directly.
