What is your treasured possession?

That one's interesting. Some people have rings or other types of jewellery they pass down as heirlooms, which usually span many generations. A lighter sounds like passing on the torch, so to speak :)
Well I love Cigars and smoking cigarettes. The lighter has a deeper meaning. It represents the joy and lavish wealth I will to bestow upon my kids one day. So yes I want to pass on the "torch" of excellence; of not settling for less. It also stimulates me to keep things in perspective. Every time I use it I recognize that I am worth it. That I am worthy of excellence in life. In the same way a manager or executive may look at their Rolex as a $30,000 marker of their own success. A $1500 lighter in the palm of my hands is a marker that I am headed somewhere. It may sound corny to some but I'm absolutely sincere. And not to sound pretentious.( jokingly) I have to admit " ITS A 1500 LIGHTER! people everywhere use like 50 cent BIC Lighters. Its nice to have. ;)

I don't even smoke, but I'm a big fan of lighters. I have a Dupont Ligne that I carry on occasion just to hear the beautiful ping when the lid flips open.

Nice. Dupont just came out with a casino complication. Has a roulette wheel built inside the lighter. I believe the retail price will be $50,000. I'm definitely getting it

Without question it was my cat. I'm not one for close human connections really, but she was like my child in every way. She would sit in my lap all day while I was working, slept with me on the pillow right next to my head every single night, and never left my side. She unfortunately passed away a few years ago and that shit broke me.

So now it's her box of ashes that I always keep close and sleep with every night just like she did while she was here. I even take it on vacation with me or whenever I go out of town.

I will commit homicide over that box if anyone ever tried to fuck with it or take it from me.

My cats are like children to me. It is incredible how close a bond one could develop with an animal. I'm happy other people see it this way too :)

You may all laugh but once my cat passes away (many, many years from now) I am actually considering taking her to a cryonics facility to be frozen and perhaps brought back to life one day to live forever. I know how bizarre it sounds but perhaps some of you may understand that sentiment.

I got a few nice collectible watches that I own, but if we're talking about possessions that can't be replaced with monetary value. It's most definitely my little Russian Blue. Have had it for almost a year and wouldn't trade him for the world.

Such a majestic creature, don't you think

I absolutely understand that sentiment. I thought about doing the same thing (or cloning her).

Definitely my passport with a lot of stamps and visas from different countries and a constant worry that soon there will be no space left.
