Concerning my last thread, where i said google refused to index my sitemap, here is what is discovered today.

For some reasons, GSC is not discovering my main sitemap url. So i decided to submit each url in the sitemap individually in GSC, and they got discovered almost immediately. Now what could be wrong with main sitemap url? As a result, none of my content has been indexed by google, even after using rankmath instant indexing.

What could be the reason? All contributions are welcomed.

It's not as a result. As long as you have the individual sitemaps you're fine. Content will be picked up. So don't stress too much about this. But if you really want to spend time cracking this issue down, check your sitemap in incognito to see what search engines actually see. Maybe you have it cached or something. Can't say without seeing the website.

I will PM you the url

Sitemaps no longer help with indexing unless you're happy to sit around while Google make up their minds on whether to look at your content or not. You need to give them at least a nudge, if not a shove. Make sure your internal linking is on-point (each page no more than 2 clicks away from the main point of entry), build backlinks to both your home page AND your other key pages, make sure there are no barriers to access for Googlebot by checking urls here: https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly
And if you're still having issues, look over the indexing services in the marketplace and try out their free credit offers.
