Expired domain Backlinks - First Try

Hello guys, It's my first time when I'm gone try Expired domain Backlinks.

I found this domain in my niche, but as I checked It's not good 33% ******** links from 500, am I right ?
btw It's only costs 10$
But It's not important... I have few questions.


1) I buy paid hosting for expired domain and pay for this until I work for this project, yea ?
2) I'm redirecting all URLs to home page ?
3) If backlinks comes to expireddomain.com/sport-cars/ I will create new "sport-cars" URL for expired domain and redirect It to my home page ?
4) I'm doing all of this in 2-3 days ? It's not spam for main website ?

1. Get cheap shared hosted from someone other than where it's registered, install wordpress and use 404 to 301 plugin to log any traffic and wait. Watch for crap visitors if it was used for spamming by previous registrant, etc before building it out.

3. I don't know about doing that as using the 404 to 301 does the same thing with no effort.
4. How many pages were indexed before? With a 1 rating (if that screenshot was your domain), it was likely just parked for perhaps pbn backlinks. I have seen many pbn sites expire, and those backlinks could simply have disappeared.

Did you examine archive for past history before registering it?

The URL's that receive a 404 will be redirected to your page of choice via a 301 permanent redirect.

In case you don't want to do that with a wordpress plug in (But its fast and easy), you can also insert some code in .htaccess file if linux hosted.

Guys, can I buy It for 20$ ? I checked website on archive.org and It was not spam website. I think grandma was a owner and maybe she is not alive anymore...

What do you think ? What should I check before I buy ?

+ She had 50x patterns on etsy.com and from every pattern link comes to her website.

Please I need good advice.

If you want only to redirect traffic, you can register the domain and use the registrant redirect (for example very easy with namebright using their nameservers)

Is the latest drop directly from grandma who died (or decided to switch to facebook pages) and her patterns from etsy? No usage in between? Look closely at archive snapshots to see what appears. Was it parked? 301'ed already? Do the backlinks show legitimate inbound links and no spam?

What if expired-domain- redirects (301) to website that doesn`t exist any more but still has backlinks from expired-domain, and i decide to buy expired-domain and try to redirect it to my website will it get the links or not ?

The links normally remain provided it was a legit website and wasn't pumped up by fake PBN links which will eventually disappear. I bought several domains like that where previous registrant held for years and 301ed to the new site for a few years but since they wanted to rebrand they were "uninformed" and dropped the good backlinked historical clean domain instead of keeping it and so I repopulated new content and they ranked well and fast.

Check to make sure no trademark on expired domain, why not build it out instead of a 301? I have done 301's and others here on the forum are better to speak to about how effective they are. I used to do that, but haven't in a long time.

Better leaving both websites live and redirect from website A to B with a link.

You need to check so many factors before buy any domain.

Your suppose to cheek the moz info with the domain and make sure the stats are not fake

You use ahref or semrush to cheek all the backlinks to see there no adult or Chinese backlinks.

You then need goto wayback and cheek old website information making sure it not a spam website and got penilised years before.

That the short version it go on.

All stats can be spoofed / faked why intense searching done to make sure domain worth it.
