I've been wondering the same thing buddy. Btw, how do you go about finding viral videos to stich and reshape?

A 5 seconds long video has a way bigger chance of going viral than a 8+ seconds one
why? Simply because there is the retention rate
Average tiktok user attention span is around 2 seconds - the 3 extra seconds you add would have to be interesting enough in order keep the viewer until the end of the video - failing to do so would kill any chance of your video to go viral
What the stitch method does is:
basically “steal” viral content (aka content that kept the viewers attention) and “mark” it as original content using the stitch feature
but it’s a “legit” way since it’s not you marking or stealing the content it’s tiktok itself that gives you this option

No idea on this, currently testing on my local language with random videos. What about trying viral videos from other stitchers?
Yeah, this makes sense fr. I will try to figure out this method but it may still worth without that super secret method

It does have the same potential.
The thing is that people here do not want to record anything for 3 seconds .

Actually it doesn’t have the same potential because the engagement metrics are compared on each pool of views. The video stitched with the method will have better metrics and will be pushed further than a video stitched with own 3 sec recording.

Obviously I cannot tell but I know of 2 ways so far. One that always works and that I found it now and the one that involves the capcut button but I dont use it since it rarely appears

You can’t use human work force to decide what to go viral, at this scale you need to rely on AI. The best they can do is tag suspect videos to be reviewed by moderators…

The viral potential doesn’t exactly fall under one single metric, that’s why
the case mentioned above was for the same stitched video which already succeeded in grabbing users attention
If my 5 seconds long video has 60% retention rate and it generated 300h of watchtime your 1s video would have 95% retention rate but generated only 40h of watchtime
If you were tiktok which one would you pick to send out to fyp? The one that keeps the audience more on the platform or the other one?
That’s why i said that the viral potential is the same if you know what you’re doing
If your 8 seconds video ends with 3 seconds of nothingness your retention rate will drop thus making my video more important based on that single factor (bcus it’s the same viral video stitched so if all the metrics lookalike but i am at 80% retention rate and you’re at 50% it’s obvious which one wins)
But what you mentioned isn’t the exact same case, we won’t have lookalike metrics - so tiktok will obviously not push something that generates 40h of watchtime after 400k views

Ok bro I will share my methods publicly here so that everyone can abuse them and lead to a Tiktok patch just because Mrwhite2018 wants so. I remember you always were edgy when people didn't want to share information. Instead of calling people out because they don't want to share valuable information (that they brainstormed a lot) maybe you should focus on testing and finding them yourself.
