My first test – using acronyms correctly Here goes. I am trying to learn more about e-commerce (i.e., SEO, IM, SMM, etc.). I couldn’t find an acronym for the use of Influencers in marketing I also would like experienced input on various platforms (i.e., shopify, WordPress, etc.) & the associated apps, tools & plug-ins that are needed, highly recommended, & ones to avoid.

I am trying to develop some “side-hustles” for my two sons going to college to give them some much needed income (for myself as well). I am not opposed to hiring some proven (hopefully inexpensive) freelancers for specific needs such as target marketing for my niche. I am on medical disability, so I generally have more time than money. The more that I can learn, the less that I have to outsource. My apologies for such a long introduction. I am very happy to have located this site. Thank you all.

There are loads of great certificates like HubSpot Academy, Google's Digital Garage and SEMRush certs that can prepare you greatly for course from the likes of the Digital Marketing Institute.
These courses will show you the ways around each angle of a digital strategy, these certificates will line you up for taking in the right knowledge and then you should focus on the shenanigans going on about BHW.

There are degrees and such in digital marketing these days, all of this will meet in the middle one day!

Mostly just research. I try to read everything that seems realistic and comes from a "reliable" source. I don't believe in "get rich quick schemes" so that eliminates about 90% of the articles and information right away. I am a pretty quick study and I keep copious notes on what I deem as "words of wisdom" - especially from a forum such as this. I love the candor of members saying when an app, plugin or program is a waste, others agreeing - then having input from them as to what DID work for them. One good thread can save me money and hours, days, even weeks of wasted time & energy.
