Automatic phone dialer (Amazing money idea)

Check this out, i think i have a new project.
While installing a script on a domain that scrapes software i flicked through and came to this.

Holy shit see the stuff that bad boy can do.

* consecutively dials numbers from a phone list;
* automatically plays prerecorded message (wave file) to the phone line or:
* manually plays the message clicked on the Play List
* extended phone list allows to:
- selecting the different message (wave file) for the each entry
- individual time scheduling for each call
* answering machine and voice mail detection:
message will start playing after the silence on the line has been detected (user adjustable params)
* when answering machine is detected then playing the message will start after the beep;
* can read printed words (text file) to the phone line;
* records phone conversation to wave file;
* fully customizable: by using the script user has the ability to:
- play a different message depending on the key pressed by receiving end
- record the keystrokes as a response to the played message.
* automatic or manual disconnection;
* built-in timer: starts and stops dialing at the scheduled time.
* automated dialing from command prompt;
* busy numbers are redialed and can be moved to the end of queue;
* caller ID capable:
displays the incoming caller name and/or phone number;
when CallerID matches preset value then it launches another external application or plays a message
can launch another app with the caller ID as a trailing parameter
stores caller ID on clipboard
* multiple profiles: each profile contains a phone list and .wav file to be played over the phone;
* data record keeping:
* logs are automatically removed after specified period of time.
* ADP will not dial numbers stored in Do Not Call list:
telemarketers can download Do Not Call list from here
* Auto Dialer Pro can be used to automatically test data modems (test dial-up numbers).
It will log ID and bit rate. It can be set to launch alarm.


Now imagine using this software through voip or whatever and marketing something good, seems it can be setup to even talk from a text file, or so i read.
It can also be setup to have scripts, like Hi just calling to ask if you would like a free ringtone. If you do press 1, if not press 2, when it presses 1 you can have it do other shit..


Just thought i would rant about it and let you all know it even allows voip even skype. Also if anyone has or knows of other software like this let me know. Im UK incase your software is country dependant, this is worldwide.

Not if you use the supplied do not call list they give you, anyways you can cold call UK or other countries using voip

here in the UK i get calls like this all the time, so use voip uk account and voila, i personally think it would be good for loan leads and such. Collecting them, when they press 1 they leave there name address and phone number. Etc...

I've seen some very low success rate, used em a lot in the mortgage industry. We used to call it the "bomb". A lot of people would get super pissed and try to call you back, or opt-out.

I wonder if it does work though, the dialers we used had a slight pause before the message even started which also resulted in a second silence which people hung up, thought it was a joke, and then just got pissed off anyway since it was automated.

Seems that a lot of the autodialers had that pause problem.

Another thing to think about is that collection companies are famous for using autodialers so add another reason for people to hang up or get upset.

The idea to add an offer such as something simple as a ringtone is a good one though. Never would have crossed my mind.

reason for the pause is likely because it uses voice recognition before playing the message. A lot of predictive dialers use this - and I have no idea how it's more productive, always results in a "hello? Hello??? hello?" then hanging up right as someone finaly says hello =/

Also I wonder if someone could come up with something desktop based using skype accounts .. hrm.

HaRRo, as you're Uk based, like me, you could do something i've known people to do. Get yourself an 070 number (which is actually a premium rate number, although cunningly disguised as a mobile), then set the autodialer up to call every single mobile number in the uk, ring once, and hang up. A few people most definitely will call back, which you get paid for. Quids in.

Do they send FAX?

It's a little bit old school, but I see this all the time, small companies that buy up list and send a fax with some offer.

Grab a cpa offer, add your own cloaked link (maybe redirect)
Just do a nice little page in word and print that as pdf, upload it to a fax service? Wait and see...

I haven't seen a law in/about fax spam

I read about a scam where a dude set up a simple homepage called for example lunchbreak.com and wrote that they would fax the lunch menu from all the restaurants to all the companies in that area where they operated. So far so good, but this fucker told all these restaurants to fax to his number that was in fact a pay number, so when they start the fax and went to start preparing the lunch that little machine could rang for a couple of hours before they noticed something was wrong.

What I think he did was to have a prerecorded "fax sound" that just looped, maybe a wav file... so it would sound that it was sending a fax but instead the other side had already answered and the clock was ticking...

The sad part is that these small businessmen didn't realize their mistakes before the phone bill came...
