How to promote a reddit community?

Hello! Recently created a small Reddit thematic community, and looking for ways to increase the audience channel, what are the effective ways? I invite people from similar communities manually, but very few people join. Also, I make regular posts, I try to make them interesting, separate posts are created specifically for discussions and to attract activity to the community.
What other ways are there to raise the audience?

I don't really know how exactly would you farm a subreddit, but if it was just an account, you would just post memes which were popular on other social media there, do the same with posts but to their respective subreddits, so on and on.

You could try doing the same with subreddit, take what is proven to be viral or successful on other social media platforms like telegran, facebook, tiktok, youtube (mostly shorts), Instagram, etc and post on your subreddit.

But I am sure, you will hear better answers yet

I think you can promote your channel in other social media like Facebook, there are a lot Reddit communities that you can join and introduce about your channel, or you can chose target group and put some of your Reddit content there to attract audiences

The most obvious way to promote a Reddit community is to do cross-posting.

But you have to be strategic in how you do this.

You can't just cross-post because you think one of your posts is hot and other people in larger subreddits will be instantly overjoyed once they see your content.

It doesn't usually work out that way.

What I would do is I would get a massive list of subreddits that are populated by people that I'm trying to reach.

I will then study those subreddits based on the content that people share.

Are these similar to the content that I have on my own subreddit?

And once I can honestly make a clear connection, then I would look at the editorial direction of those shares.

How do they present the content?

What kind of comments do these posts normally attract?

By paying attention to these factors, you have everything you need to craft a cross-posting strategy.

People have successfully come up with niche audiences that are very acting using this technique.

u can also introduce your community in others social media too, besides maybe post some interacted posts can make members active more and make your community looks interesting
