I use WP-Rocket but if you search this forum, there are plenty of good suggestions to speed up your site.

Yes, I use litespeed cache and it works exceedingly well.

Plugins can help but they shouldn´t be an "ultimate" solution.
My best page speed/core web vitals optimization combo is Perfmatters ($25 p/year for a single site license) + LiteSpeed (FREE).
You will do fine with WP Rocket ($59 p/year for a single site license).
But, in the end, it all comes down to YOUR knowledge about what variables affect page loading speed and what is the best way to address them.
Otherwise, you will find yourself with a featured rich plugin, NOT knowing what tabs to enable.
Thankfully, there are some great resources here on this forum as well on the internet that can help you with this.

Besides what the guys above me suggested, I would advise three additional things.
- Never underestimate what a CDN can do. I mean proper CDN like Stackpath, not Cloudflare crap. Full CDN integration can brutally improve your site speed.
- You can optimize all you want, but if you are on some super shitty hosting, you won't be able to do miracles. Hard to cook a dinner from cold water.
- Same goes for bloated themes and design. If you are a Wordpress user, then some themes simply won't work if you want to have everything in green.
For example when I stopped using Elementor a year ago, it was bloated like me after consuming beans with a dozen garlic cloves. Keep your themes light.
So for me:
- Lighter theme, doesn't have to be super light.
- Proper hosting, at least $50 a month price range (give or take).
- WP Rocket helps a lot.
- Phastpress helps a lot. Fairly obscure plugin, but it's free and does miracles.
- CDN integration if you have static site and you need the extra punch.
Oh yes and... you get what you pay for.

If you mean speed wise, then still the same. WP Rocket, Phastpress and Fastly as a CDN as Stackpath has been discontinued.
