This time I'm using futures for learning purpose.

You can use a SL of 5 % it's what most people do or even do a time based stop loss . Let's say if you open a BTC Long and 10 hours later the trade is still open and in the red just cut the trade and analyze why that's happened . A good trade need to be closed really fast . Of course that depend if you want to do a swing trade or just do some day trading

If you are shorting you'll either get rekt or got rekt already or both.

That depends on when one sells (in shorting) and when one buys (in shorting). What I mentioned is someone shorts Bitcoin (with 0 leverage) now when Bitcoin is at US$21000 and close trade when Bitcoin is at US$8000 by around the end of the year, then what you've mentioned cannot be the scenario. Sorry to say, you are clealry confused.

Because I lost 4 digit in 2022 because i wanted quick profit without knowing anything about crypto analysis and ofc psychology.

Update : I hate BTC

Everytime BTC drop 2%, all the other (alts) coins drop by 10-20% and it takes weeks to recover from this 10-20% red.

Bulltrap for beginners, Everytime.

What i learn is BTC will pump before any FED news and boom dumb after news (80% time) only expert 'shorters' win here.

I knew this from my pre-experience but didn’t sold my coins again. This is the last time, not going to step in this bulltrap again.

Why not just make your own crypto and pump and dump it yourself instead of letting other pump and dump you?

Using Wall St terms and tactics for an obvious scam won't make you money. Either scam people yourself or get into something you have total control over.

I would suggest reading a few thousand pages on investment psych books before you play with this anymore.

Sunk cost fallacy is a great place to start.
