Install a free Chrome extension called SEO Minion.
Google your topic of choice (in this example "tuna fishing").
The extension will inject a snippet directly in your SERP.
Use it to scrape fresh PAA data from Google.
An orange button will appear prompting "View PAA Tree".

Congrats! You've now got a thorough map of topics, subtopics & supporting PAA data and phrases that Google wants you to cover.

Problem with paa's is 0-10 volume, you will thousands if not hundreds of thousands of these q and a posts.
2nd problem is a q and a site looks supper spammy and google will most likely deindex you.

I am doing this since a while and generating a good amount of traffic in 5 figures.
As of now, I didn't get ban but I agree to a point of low traffic based keywords but generating good revenue from ads!

I love that topic map; makes it really easy to visualize the layers.

So this also works for our own keyword lists? Say I have a whole spreadsheet with 200 keywords that I exported from ahrefs and I want to plot out a content mapping strategy just like this - will SEO Minion automatically analyze all the keywords and organize them appropriately, or would I have to do all of it manually?

I am using search volume. io (remove spaces) and it gives 800 free searches in a day
(just copy paste all the keywords and then download csv with results)

You can automate that as well. You can use SEMrush, Ahrefs or searchvolume . io(remove spaces)

I do a competitor analysis and analyse the content for the sites who are ranking for those particular keywords. Further, I try to find the content gap and then on the basis of that I write content (not bothered about the length tbh)

It is good if you are using it wisely. I don't consider myself as a champ or expert but I do a lot tweaks and keep on checking on Google Keyword planner + manual G search.

Pillar topic would be the main article and further articles will give links to the pillar content. From pillar the link will go to the authority site (I generally use wikipedia)
