Blog Entries vs. Product Description

Hello,

I have a webshop in the niche of supplements and nature products.
And actually I was wondering If i should try to make blog entries concerning a certain topic like (does CBD help for a better sleep), with tons of text and link to my product.
Or if I should put these questions and content directly into the shop product description?

This will be better because ecommerce websites generally rank better when it comes to product searches but when you write on a topic, you might not do well.

As the idea is to send the visitor to the product page in the end, improve the product page by adding the info to that page itself.

agree with this completely, I would still make blogs on each of the categories for relevancy but the last thing you want is the blog posts ranking for your target product keywords instead of the actual product pages.
