I started streaming website a few days ago, and google only indexed a homepage. Am i penalized by google or should I wait more?

yeah, google doesn't like streaming sites, I've not seen a streaming site in google for years, whenever I want to watch movies online for free I search for them in DDG or Yandex (although Yandex has become pretty shit, too lately, it mimics google in almost everything and it sucks)

Anyway, I'm probably not the best person to give my opinion since I've never owned a streaming site, but from a consumer's point of view I am 100% certain that google hates these sites :)

Well I already have one and its indexed, but this one is not, maybe because I literally scraped all movies from another site.

Actually this is pretty normal for new sites

Did you try submitting your URLs through search console?

You should also start sending some backlinks to your homepage, preferable with your brandname as the anchor text.

oh, you were talking about indexing... I thought you meant ranking, sorry for the confusion :)

Yeah, scraping could be an issue, but so could be many others...

1. if you're on Wordpress you could have the "discourage search engines from indexing this website" checkbox ticked
2. you might not have submitted the sitemap to your GSC and submitting a sitemap sometimes does help indexing faster
3. you could be sandboxed
4. it might take time (google are notoriously slow in indexing stuff nowadays, so if your site is new this is actually a very good possibility)
5. you might have too little content on your site
6. your SEO plugin (if you have one) could be set to noindexing your site
7. google hates these sites so much that they've decided not to index new ones ever again
8. your site contains malware / phishing stuff, or stuff that google considers to be malware / phishing

Scirpt is custom made by me no ads or other stuff that could potentially be a malware.

I will wait and we will see if it indexes.

I don't know then, sorry...

But good luck managing to index it :)

New sites takes much longer to be indexed nowadays, especially the ones being created upon brand new domain,
Give it some time, it's too soon to conclude anything,
You might want to start getting some decent links by this time, it will surely help
