I decided recently to re-enter SEO after a few years out, however I still obsessively followed it because it’s a great way to make big money.

It will be interesting to see if the age of them give any backlinks I create a boost as I’ve been asked to optimise a site in the same niche. I checked on Semrush and both only have a DA of 1 lol.

Yes, pbn then profile links. Profile you can create, takes like 10 min. Pbn you gotta buy unless you wanna spend lot of money and time to build by yourself.

A homepage link from a well built $500-1k domain PBN with single OBL is not the same as $.3-1 spammy PBN link,

While in the other hand profile links are very limited and won't be that valuable no matter what,

So PBN links wins the debate with ease in most cases

It all depends on how well juiced or tiered those backlinks are. If you have your PBN links that are only accessible via the category page of a poorly-optimized PBN site they're not going to get much traction. But if you have your 10 profile links (providing full rich articles with contextual links) with a full tier of indexing links pointing to them, they're far more likely to be taken notice of and considered.

It really depends on the relation to your niche and quality of the sites involved. All things being equal, profile links are generally pretty low value but plenty of PBN links are poor quality, too. Context for the link really matters when you buy links just like context matters when google crawls your links.
