I'm pretty disappointed. I asked numerous times if the service was unlimited, and I was told it was. I used the service for a week and it was good! Sure, some connection timeouts, but when you're making a lot of scraping a few timeouts isn't the worst.
The issue arose after a week. The service completely stopped working. 100% connection timeouts, instead of the previous 1%... I thought that maybe the service I was scraping just banned the IPs, so I bought an IP block from another country, and those didn't work at all either.
I decided to look into why, and then I realized the server was not sending the error, the IP proxies were! I was blacklisted from the proxy after just a week.
Now that's the downside, the positive is when I reached out to customer support they instantly began a refund process. Very commendable, but they never said what happened. I have a hunch that the service says unlimited, but it's not. It's probably a few hundred GB, maybe 1 terabyte limit. I can guarantee that there is a limit that is not disclosed. You can use the service until they do the same to you, but it's very respectable that they did a refund on both services without hesitation.
My recommendation to the owner is not to offer unlimited and then ban users that do start to go past your unspoken limit. Just be upfront about any limits you have. There's nothing wrong with having limits. Sure I am nice guy, and I can see that you offer good service for cheap, so no way your unlimited was really unlimited. However, if the wrong person buys the service and thinks this is unlimited, you're going to get negative reviews for sure for lying about the service you offer.
