How can I turn my home being 'robbed' into a profit?
Hi All, my home was robbed last week. Is it possible to make money off of that fact by creating a quora / reddit acct and asking for donations to buy new stuff?

This is actually a great idea. I would suggest doing the same thing. Use your experience to write this blog and highlight the important things to take care of in order to avoid being burgled. I’m sure there’s plenty of products to promote and searches to target.

Now you know what you should have done to prevent this.

So your Domain will be sth Like "burglary protection.xyz"
Affiliate with e.g. Amazon (there are better).
Write about your experience and about all Things that make a Home "secure".
And all those products you Link with your AFF Link to amazon and get a little % for each Sale.

Usual affiliate stufg, but with Info from an "expert"

Not everyone is going to donate to you coz not everyone is going to trust you. So asking donations is a bad idea.

Idea is good, but even if there is any footage available it is hard to say it will go viral these days because there are numerous such videos that appear on news channel and such videos disappear soon too.
