That's a huge red flag, when anyone says "xyz will be the next whatever", these are scammers doing this, and they're making a lot of money off those who fall for it.

Always have a look at the tokenomics of a token / coin. For BONK, the top 20 holders have (had) 50% of the total tokens, so a dump in such cases, is (was) inevitable. Ofcourse, even with great tokenomics, manipulation by can be and is often done by some groups that work together and they buy a large amount of the coin, causing the price to go up artificially. Once the price is high, they sell their cryptocurrency, causing the price to drop.

Its common to lose 99% of your money in shitcoins, especially with those low volume / low market cap coins. I'd only get into them if I had any insider information other than that you're going to burn real fast.
