How do you manage your blogs?

'm currently using AI but I still have to change a lot of the output it comes up with specially when the articles need research.
If you have a budget, you can train or hire a Virtual assistant to help you with all the necessary tasks.

Nothing seriously , set goal then reach your target sometimes miss tha goal next time go for correct thats my strategy

As a one man show, how do you handle your day job and blog? It can take me quite some time to write 1 article and it doesn’t feel productive to write 4 articles per month (specially when managing multiple blogs at a time).

I’ve read that time could be better spend on something else rather than blogging and now I’m unsure whether I should continue at all.

i don't have a day job so i guess that affords me extra time, but to answer your question i do it old school and just have a master spreadsheet with all the info in it.

regarding whether you should continue, i think it's about what the reward is in comparison to your work. you can do a lot with one article. my general formula that has worked for me for years is to write 10 articles for the blog and space out the posting over a week, then write one article a week and spend the rest of the week promoting it.

If you are working on multiple blogs, I suggest you get a spreadsheet.

Start organizing the content you plan to write on each blog, get your titles ready and create a spreadsheet for each blog.
Write all the posts you plan to work on for each spreadsheet and go from there.

You can also get a To-Do List spreadsheet to make sure you are doing everything you are supposed to.

I do it all myself, if the rest of the work can't afford it I'll find someone else and pay for it

I wish, it would speed up everything.

Yeah, same strategy for now!

I think I'll give the spreadsheet a try!

Yeah, I just seem to be spending more time on a single article than necessary.

Same, I do it all myself!

To everyone who chipped in, thank you so much, I believe I finally have found a system that works for me.

Make notes on daily basis, time management is the key. Extract article from ChatGPT and give them a real touch like human written article.

Here are a few expert tips on how to effectively manage your blog.
  1. Know Your Audience.
  2. Develop a Laser Focus on Your Niche.
  3. Produce Only Quality Content.
  4. Keep a Solid Editorial Schedule.
  5. Use a Blog Management Tool Like Studio.
  6. Always Provide Value.
  7. Find Opportunities for More Content.
  8. Remember Keyword Research.

Research prompt crafting, because if your output sucks it means your prompts suck.

I use RankIQ to find topics and keywords, ChatGPT for a first draft, and Frase for bulking up posts with more information and further optimization. It's not exactly cheap (though I'm on the LTD for Frase so I only pay for their AI addon) but it allows me to write damn good articles of 2000-6000 words in 20 minutes to an hour and that includes adding images and publishing to Wordpress.

I've tried but I've never been able to create an output without having to heavily update it after so how is that even possible, in 20mins? With research and all?

its all depend in your Goal which you set
Write more articles.

Thought
You should hire someone to write articles for you. And do not depend on one blog only.

I used to have a huge network of blogs, but I sold off quite a number of them.

And now, I'm just focusing on my bigger publishing platforms.

I manage them the way I manage individual blogs.

I focus on the latest content by studying my traffic flow.

Do you know the best source of data for your content and editorial decisions?

It's not Semrush.

It's not even Google.

It's your audience.

Pay close attention to your statistics, and give people what they want.

It really doesn't get any simpler than that.

They keep loading a page over and over again for a reason.

If you notice that most of your traffic comes to a limited range of pages, you're on to something.

Create pages that are similar in topics to those.

Don't cannibalize your keywords though.

By linking them strategically to each other, you will replicate the success of your hot pages.

This is how you build a successful site.

Build on your strengths.

I don't care if you have 1 hot page or 100 hot pages.

You can scale them up.

Just as you can think of a topic, you can slice and dice it to produce dozens if not hundreds of subtopics.

I usually reuse my content to post on other platflorms. Like when my main channel is on Youtube, I can reuse my video, edit it, post on Tiktok. Then I can try many ways to drive traffic back to my Youtube channel. So that I can save many time to do other tasks.

I agree but I don't have any spare money at the moment; hence where the idea of the blogs came from (and the one I could financially afford).

I agree and it's want I'm currently doing but what I was referring to was, how do you manage the content for all of your blogs when it's only you writing them; atm I can only produce 1 good high quality article a day.

I usually reuse my content to post on other platflorms. Like when my main channel is on Youtube, I can reuse my video, edit it, post on Tiktok. Then I can try many ways to drive traffic back to my Youtube channel. So that I can save many time to do other tasks.
I'm not using social media just yet, I'm focusing on the content writing of the blogs first!
