Did you create a landing page + website too or did you just used the affiliate link directly on your Reddit posts?

With earning methods (or strategies), one has to be creative and tweak things to make it work. For example, PERHAPS (MAY BE) in this particular case one may create a landing page or a website and have the disclaimer on the landing page or website. Of course that would mean spending a few more (US) dollars, and some more efforts. But, that is how it goes in internet marketing nowadays. And this is the reason why internet marketing is not meant for everyone and everyone is not meant for internet marketing. Successful internet marketing is no longer about following a different path, it is nowadays about creating a different path. (I am not referring to you, I am just talking in general).

You can grow some karma by yourself by posting a few cute pet pictures in popular pets subreddits.
Getting 1k+ or even a few K karma within a week should be achievable.

Great method. But the roadblock for newbies like me is, how to find such a sub-reddit that allows affiliate links and has buyers of some kind. The niche could be chosen afterward since Amazon has about everything. Any thoughts on how to find these money-making sub-reddits, or maybe even telegram groups?

This will get your Amazon affiliate account banned quickly. You need a decent website with a lot of original content and then you can start playing with reddit/amazon by redirecting reddit traffic to your website first and then to Amazon. There is a lot of trouble on the way - reddit bans, domain bans, furious redditors, Amazon rules, redirects, proxies, subreddits testing, finding a suitable products...Trust me, it's not that easy.

how are you going to post the amazon/fcc disclaimer in reddit??

Post flair on the sub I post in has one specifically for affiliate links, so it is disclosed on every link I post.

The hard part is actually finding subreddits where affiliate links are allowed.

Truth be told, I kinda stumbled on mine, as the niche I am in also happens to be a niche I participate in.

Post flair is directly next to the link, in bright red, and says "Affiliate Link" for every post.

As reddit is considered social media, I guess I just need to put in my account profile then "I am an Amazon Associate and earn from qualifying purchases" and that would cover all bases.

This seems like a really decent method, I'd definitely recommend this to beginners starting out that doesn't have much money to start.
