This one is for the newbs.

KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid

There are tons of posts, methods, twists, etc to making money, the basics are simple:
  1. Generate traffic
  2. Generate profit from that traffic
I recently wanted to see just how easy and low effort I could make some side money, so I took these basics to the extreme.

What you need:
  • An Amazon Affiliates account
  • A niche
  • A subreddit in that niche which allows affiliate links
  • A decently warmed up reddit account (I use one with over 50k Karma)
My target subreddit has under 20k subs, and under 200 active people on at any time. What you want to do here is to find people who are WARM. In marketing, this means they are already ready to buy something, with wallet in hand. My target sub also meets this criterion.

Find lightning deals or other steep discounts on Amazon and grab your affiliate link. These deals should be loosely/passably related to your niche. Post your link to the subreddit of your choice, with a descriptive title of the deal. Add in "thought this could be useful to you guys" or other similar text and don't just spam your link. Try to also be somewhat active in the sub as well prior to your first post. just open it a few times a week and comment on some reply chains. If you do this, mods are less likely to ban you for spamming. Look like a real person and you'll be treated like one.

That's it! Doing this exact thing has generated me over $7000 in affiliate Amazon sales in the last week, with an average of about 3% commission. I posted a total of maybe 10 links over that period. The goal here is NOT to get people to buy whatever you link. The goal is to get your affiliate cookie on as many peoples devices as possible, because you get commission for ANYTHING they buy within the 24 hours that they click on your link. If you can get them to add an item to their cart, it lasts even longer (so look for those "Add to cart" deals on Amazon!). Find deals that make people CLICK, not necessarily buy.

Taking this a step further, you can purchase upvotes and engage on your post with alt accounts, making it seem well received. I have also found someone who runs an affiliate website which seems to scrape deals in my niche automatically. All I have to do is go to this person's site, grab my own affiliate link to those products, and post them to the subreddit! Send a few upvotes and disappear. Takes all of 20 minutes. I posted NOTHING for 3 days (Sat, Sun, Mon) and those links were still working hard!

These stats do not include the last 24 or so hours worth of sales, where I have some more sales which push me to the numbers stated. Keep in mind, you only get your commission once the item is shipped, so half of my commission is still not even accounted for here!

This really goes to show you how little you have to put in these days to make some decent side income.

This is the key. This is a dope strategy. I'm trying to find a website like that where the person has essentially done the work for me. Any tips? I'm just googling various keywords to find one. Also how hard is it to get to 50,000 Karma? I would have a fresh reddit account so it would probably be hard to do this method correct?

You could buy one from the marketplace with some karma, Great method btw!

Attention of especially newbie internet marketers, this is an awesome method and very much doable, without any investment except perhaps a few dollars for proxies, etc if one has to create a few Reddit accounts.
So, if you are ready to put in the work and the time involved, here you go, this is a suitable method and it has been explained quite well by @tripartist1 and you can start earning decent amounts of (US) dollars just within a few days of starting with this method or rather this strategy. The best part is, it does not require any skills either, it's just requires your work, time and dedication for a few hours everyday.
So, what are you waiting for ? Take this new year as a year to challenge your limits and no longer limit your challenges. So, pull up your socks, get serious about making money and you can do it. As with every good opportunity you need to be relentless and persistent, in order to enjoy the fruits and the rewards.

What is the minimum amount of karma one should realistically have to do this method? I see the OP mentions 50,000 which appears to be a lot based on the marketplace pricing. I'm don't use Reddit much I'm not all that familiar with how it works. I've just browsed very sparingly here and there

this, where can I get these? A small subreddit that allows aff link and a website that scrapes my niche automatically.

True that. Also reddit has many of antiwork dude and will report/ban your account even you don't have link in post but have link in the bio.
Amazon tracks where clicks come from and reddit is not allowed and they are commies on Reddit that will put your account on a subreddit that flag spammers which will get your account removed within hours.

No, I do not think so. Promotion of Amazon products even through Amazon affiliate links in social media, does not violate Amazon's T&C's.
how are you going to post the amazon/fcc disclaimer in reddit??

Excuse me
What items do reddit users usually like on AMZ ?
So should we build a subreddit ourselves ?

I think the hardest part is choosing the right product for a market on reddit.
Next is the ultimate selling skill
And @tripartist1 did a great job

With earning methods (or strategies), one has to be creative and tweak things to make it work. For example, PERHAPS (MAY BE) in this particular case one may create a landing page or a website and have the disclaimer on the landing page or website. Of course that would mean spending a few more (US) dollars, and some more efforts. But, that is how it goes in internet marketing nowadays. And this is the reason why internet marketing is not meant for everyone and everyone is not meant for internet marketing. Successful internet marketing is no longer about following a different path, it is nowadays about creating a different path. (I am not referring to you, I am just talking in general).

is the native ads good?
I added native ad for my site and getting 20-30 clicks per day.. but no sales yet within 7 days
