Google can Detect AI Content - Check this out

Didn't watch and wont watch. No it can't detect it and no it most likely will never detect it. People don't realize how many billions of articles google goes through every single day. Running all of them through an AI detection is a lot of computer power that they can't really afford to use.

Google has already been reducing the crawl rate over the past couple years due to the massive hardware and computing requirements it needs, adding more expensive & intricate detection to its system is counter productive for them.

Also, AI is not against google guidelines, trash and duplicate content is.

This. ChatGPT is so good that I refuse to believe there is any way Google could tell the difference between ChatGPT and a human. A human can't tell, so how could an AI detect another AI, unless there was a fingerprint of course. Also, they will continue to get better over the years.

Another thing people fail to realize is that ChatGPT is not the only AI in the market either. There are multiple dozens of different AI models out there, looking around in python AI section you can find like 100 different ones within 2 minutes of searching. All of them would leave different footprints, and like you said, the purpose of an AI is for it to continuously improve, this includes a change in footprints. It's just a witch hunt that will never end. Expensive and waste of time.

That is precisely my experience. It has a high false positive, and I don't think it really works.
 
even if this was the case, you could easily adjust a few things here and there and voila.
people gone mad with making exaggerated articles/news. just so the "algo is with them"
pls get me back to our former multiverse.
 
It's getting funny at this point. People can't simply embrace change. AI is here to stay, and people should get used to it.

Google can't detect it or you don't want Google to be able to detect it...
 
Complete BS!

First of all, HuggingFace only detects GPT2, NOT GPT3. Second of all, I´ve used tools that are supposed to detect GPT3-generated content (Like Originality) comparing both manual and pure AI-generated content without any editing done in it, and the manually written article has sometimes been labeled as "AI Content". In contrast, the AI content has been deemed as "original.

Lastly, if they could really detect it, they wouldn´t issue a "red flag" because of it...
