Hey all,

Just curious as to what everyone uses the most for KW research. I would be using it for a content website. I have yet to use AHREFS but have heard it was the current "best", so I figured I would ask!

Well the best research tool is google.com, its free as well :)
Simply google your keyword, see whos ranking, what they're doing, how good their content is, are they adding value? answering the users query in an in-depth way?

I do like using the tools as a combination with manual research, my tool of choice has to be semrush nowadays, mainly due to ahrefs greedy new prices.

Thanks for the quick reply! My partner and I have been leaning SEMrush, but we also have a lot of SEO education to do between us. What's your favorite tool(s) for learning (outside of doing which is always going to be the best way)? We're currently taking a free ahrefs course and then might do some on Udemy.

Trial & error. :)

I've been using Semrush and it's pretty good. You can even find sellers on here selling Semrush accounts for cheap

I will have to check out Google planet thanks for the response!

Thanks! Seems like Semrush might be the most popular one.

Thanks for your response!
Google Planet?!, I was thinking what in the blue hell is this new GEM. :)

I didn't know what it was and planner was what first came to mind lol so it's probably that

SEMrush is great for keyword research.

Semrush
Few very good kw tuts shared here
Use the search button

SEMrush and GSC. I was using Ahrefs but recently made the switch to SEMrush...

I use the Keywords Everywhere tool and then I do manual filtering of keywords.

Thanks guys for the input/suggestions! Semrush still the leader (though I know we should probably try them all).

In fact, there are many, depending on your strategy & work, you will choose 1 or 2 that are most suitable. Because of the competitive factor, each tool has different values.
