Hey everyone, I am running my own affiliate website, on December, my page is losing ranking and traffic keep dropping every single day, within 1 monthin, my traffic drop from 18K to 8K, and it is still dropping now, I am getting worried, and need to know how can I get my traffic back.

Can you give us more info?

What niche are you in? How has the traffic been last year in the same period?

my website is all about makers product, and one of my niche is about laser engraver, I start my blog on Oct , 2021, compared to last year, of course it has increase a lot since it was starting

I would take traffic from semrush and ahrefs with a grain of salt since the last goog updates. My semrush chart has a similar trend but my list of top 3 keywords has exploded higher and my gsc traffic has improved significantly over the last month but none of the seo providers show an increase traffic on their website. I think their tripping or significantly delayed because of the updates. Gsc and google analytics are going to be your best visuals anyways for that data. I would compare to gsc and see if theres still a problem.

If your keywords are dropping then you may have a on page issue.

Make sure its visually appealing. Your doing your headers.
You are using a variety of keywords throughout not just keyword stuffing the same word.
Make sure you have a decent da and pa.
Make sure your spammy backlinks weren't disavowed by google. If they were you have to rebuild them.

750 word article that looks nice and on page is done currently will out perform a 1500 word article with only text.

Also going from #1 spot to #2+ on large volume keywords will dramatically reduce semrush traffic.

the idea that they did a "link spam update" is so hilarious to me. as i understand it, the "link spam update" is filtering out links that are obviously built to game the system. this is literally the same thing they've been doing for over a decade. so what's different now? the same philosophy behind content generation still applies today: you have to create content that can't be found anywhere else in order for that content to be deemed "valuable" enough to rank it higher than other content. so if your auto-generated pages are suddenly carrying no value then maybe it's time to focus on better automation. that's what the AI stuff is for, and honestly it is not so detectable as the preveious generation of spun content.

TL;DR create better content for your backlinks

Why do you check your google traffoc in semrush instead of google search console
