The best Text to Speech softwares are not free. One such software is the Microsoft Text to speech software although it's not free but there are number of ways to use it for free like using a new account once your subscription runs out. It sounds the most natural and I personally use it for my work.

What's your experience with text to speech AI for creating Podcasts?
Do they convert? Do users like it?

Or is it better- more original, to use your own voice?
I will try Descript with my own voice, read a test site then wait for Descript reply to clone my voice.

You see, you creating text to speech AI Podcasts then later videos with your face, at this point users realize, that your voice and tone in your videos is different then in your AI Podcasts. How do you handle this?

Some rare very good neural text to speech Ai exist out in the web, sounds better than your own voice.
I think the problem will become later when you producing AI Podcasts and videos.......your website visitors can hear the difference in the voice between your AI Podcasts and Videos.

So I'm not sure if this will destroy your reputation?
