Finding top selling products in a catagory

Is there a black or white hat way of finding out the top selling products in 2021 and 2022 in an ecommerce sector? I'm specifically interested in finding out this information for engagement rings.

Its easier if you can narrow this down to a specific platform. There are tools for specific platforms but so far I havent seen anything reliable say across multiple platforms to estimate sales.

Goto any shopify store and add this on the end of the url to get products sorted by best sellers.

collections/all?sort_by=best-selling

I guess you can do that by using the filters the ecommerce platform offers, usually there are categories for the top selling products
