Facebook Dos and Donts - Share Your Experiences

I think it would help us all out if we shared our Facebook experiences with each other as far as the dos and donts. If you want, please share your experience about how many accounts you run on the same IP, how many friend requests you send out per account daily etc etc.

Also if you have been banned please share your experience as far as what you think caused it etc.

If we all share our experiences regularly then we'll be able to minimize the risk of getting banned on Facebook. After all isn't that what BHW is all about.... sharing to increase knowledge!

Keep more than 3 Admins on your FanPage/Group so that if one account gets banned u r group dont become orphan
orphan pages are removed

Ahhhh I see... Excellent info mate! So what you're saying is - have at least three administrators for every fan page, since if one of the administrators gets banned then the fan page goes down... awesome.. this thread is off to a great start!

Never Use Email lists Twice to add friends to your account It is an easy way to get Banned

Adding friends with email addresses ?
Use list of 750 FB users FB allows only 800 pending friend requests

Again i advise dont use this method with an account 2nd time if you want to keep your account alive

Once again great info mate... but I'm a little confused as to what you meant - You mean don't use the same email list twice? Or don't upload more than one email contact list period?

That is some very interesting info because the ebook that is circulating around here at BHW says the opposite - it's telling people to upload lists of 3500-4000 a couple times a day.. who knows maybe that is why facebook changed the rules lol.

Yeah it seems unlikely that Facebook would not put limits on such a thing. Maybe it USED to be like this but I doubt it stayed that way. Thanks for the input!

i always put 5000 emails in there...no problems at all with that... i mean some accounts do get banned but i have so many accounts that these few accounts doesnt matter

I have been adding friends with contact lists i harvest for the past few days (a few thousand a day). Today i go to add more and i am unable to add any and a warning pops up telling me i have been adding too many friends at a high rate with too many denials and if i continue, then i stand a chance of having my account banned ?!!? I guess at least they warned me before banning my account !
I was following that method in another post in here as far as adding friends thru a contact list which claimed it was ok to add several thousand or more a day...Dont believe it !

So what your saying is, if i make another account, i cant use a contact list that i use from a previous account ?!?! Or are you saying dont use the same list twice for the SAME account ???

If I want to make fan pages strictly for the purpose of internet marketing and promoting CPA offers and such then should I be using proxies and different accounts? As of right now the only FB account I have is my personal one and I do not want it banned. Thanks for any help.

1) Don't post your links on BHW...haters WILL report it

2) If you are monetizing your fan page using CPA links or FBML page, then prepare to live without your fan page (it's going to go sooner or later)

3) Whilst you fan page is growing, create new fan pages, with different profiles even and direct existing fans towards new page. This is a precaution in case on page ie CPA offers page is disabled

4) If your onto a winning technique, dont post it on forums, keep it unique.

When creating a new page, use a new account incase your first one gets deleted, therefore you won't be able to access the second page.

Actually I would not doubt that they surf the forums... They do have a department of people that control Spam? Not ever group is deleted by throwing up flags, They have employees that surf FB all day long deleting fake accounts and groups.. So I wouldn't doubt that they read stuff like this also.. Especially since BHW, DP ETC rank highly in google for keywords based on Facebook sp#m from everyone's posts...
