Hi. I want to add a review and register a complaint here. The IP quality is A+, undetected by all tools, it's real 5G from carriers. However, I'm facing an issue where the proxy fails from time to time. The speed is great, but what happens is that I have a MultiLogin profile with the proxy and almost always every 24 hours the proxy seems to go down. For example, during the night I use my ad account fine. The next day when I try to start it again, the proxy is down. I'm forced to fast reset the IP and sometimes I can only get it fixed by support. It's really annoying. I hope there is a fix. I'm tired of constantly asking for support to fix it. Sometimes I'm on the go on my laptop at the airport or something and don't have the time to log in, go to the chat and wait for someone to fix it. Could you offer me a solution to this issue?

While we do our best to ensure that our proxies are kept alive 24/7, we also do know that our customers can and will run into issues from time to time with proxies seemingly going offline without reason. We do have built in watchdog systems that attempt to mitigate situations like this by preemptively rebooting services to bring the proxies online automatically but when this fails, we understand the frustration of having to contact our support teams to help bring your proxies back into service.

You are able to issue a few actions on your end to resolve your issues prior to having to contact our live chat team, all of these functions are steps that our live chat teams take for almost every troubleshooting issue.

1) issuing a “Hard Reset IP and Reboot Proxy” command from the proxy portal – this feature will power cycle the proxy and the modem. This hard reset will take around three to five minutes to complete during which time you will not be able to disconnect the modem from its current location or do any testing as both the proxy and modem boot back up. The Hard reset button can resolve a multitude of proxy related issues including problems where your IP seems to be stuck when trying to issue a fast reset IP. If you are unable to connect to a proxy and you know you have your credentials input correctly give this button a try.

2) The yellow “Hard Reset & Synchronize Credentials” button can be used when you run into issues with your credentials not working and will also change your IP address. This will power cycle the modem which can take up to a couple of minutes to fully boot back up. The modem will also synchronize your credentials on the portal with the proxy.

3) Using easyport may help users bypass potential port blocks from their ISP, if you’re noticing that you can use HTTP port 8000 but not the Socks5 port of 9000 enabling easyport will give you a randomized port that you can use to potentially bypass the port blocking.

4) Some of our savvier customers have taken to setting up a script utilizing our API endpoints to check on the status of their proxies by curling to a site like ipinfo.io to confirm their proxy is still alive followed by issuing a hard reset / synchronize credentials if the proxy fails to return any information.
