Building a saas membership website with WP

Hello BHW!

I don't have much experience with WP development. I have a product that is in the marketing big data niche. It comes as a large table of data. I want to offer access to this data as a paid membership through my WP website.

Currently, all I have is the product as CSV... and a beautiful WP landing page. I also have generatepress lifetime license (I would like to stick to this theme if possible)

I have done some research, and now I understand that the membership plugin (i.e. memberpress) builds restrictions on access to certain pages on the WP website.

My question is: Do I get it right that all I need to do is use a plugin such as ninjatables to build a page that would display all the data and a plugin such as memberpress to manage users access to this page?

That's right. NT renders the table on a page and memberpress will allow/restrict access to that page based on the member's/user's group/privileges.

Is it really worth purchasing any SaaS WP themes apart from the generatepress theme which I already own? Cuz as far as I see it's just a menu and some design (which I most likely would like to change anyway)

Most of the SaaS themes use Elementor which makes the page very heavy and leads to a poor user experience. I'd stick with Generatepress and Customize the design to my liking.
