Terrible service.

I have been with them for 2 months now.

My setup is getting hit and I started to investigate, turns out that their Mobile 4G proxies actually aren't rotating, to begin with.

They got caught red-handed, trying to convince me that Mobile proxies are just like residential proxies.

Real LTE connection gives you a new IP when you switch flight mode on/off - SOAX gives you 4 IPs to play around. This is the reason I'm getting linked between the accounts.

I see their representative has closed their sales thread here, wanted to give you heads-up on whoever is going to deal with them.

UPDATE:

It turns out that you need to request rotations manually through their CS team - This is bizarre and weird and this should be done automatically.

Whoever is going to buy mobile proxies needs to ask them to ALLOW RING: "ON"

Allow Ring ON: as long as there are unused IPs in the target pool, the system will connect you to unused IPs.
Allow Ring OFF: will connect you to a random IP regardless of whether you have used it before or not.

Otherwise, they will keep giving you IPs that you already have used. In my case, it was just 4.

Not that many at all.

Their IPs come from real devices so they rotate super slowly.

If you do not switch flight mode on/off in your real device then you might not get a new IP in a week.. they don't have this opportunity to do that from their end so the IPs stay the same for a long time.

That said and for anyone else who might be see this, yeah mobile proxies providing residential IPs may eventually provide a repeated IP but because of how proper mobile proxies work, that shouldn't be much of an issue. Although, I doubt you would only revolve around 4 IPs. That said and as OP mentioned on a follow up, they should apparently request from the CS team when you want to get a proper IP rotation which seems like a lot of work for a feature other providers will allow you to do on your end.

this is why you always do your homework first kids!

grab an ip and open cmd for checking if its rotating or not - good on ya INCC for catching this early on before ya dumped to much $$ into this crap

There are lots of other countries where there are less than 10 IPs available at any given time. If you need USA then you have more, but my work requires very specific locations that they don't have but they advertise that they have, which is a bummer.

Just for additional information, it usually doesn't matter if the IP is repeated on mobile proxies (as long as the repetition is not too frequent or consecutively occurring). The reason for that each IP from mobile proxies, if it is working correctly, is behind a CGNAT gateway. These IPs are "shared" by several thousands of people, depending on the provider. Can't ban a single IP since this would affect several thousands. Online servers usually know which IPs come from providers and treat these connections accordingly so to my knowledge, barring cookies fingerprinting and such, occasional repetitions are a non-issue. Far as I know, policy's similar for most non-US service providers as well. But yeah, don't know if that pool should be only 4 IPs, definitely not normal in my opinion.

If Soax is so terrible, what is a better provider? I find it hard to find a similar service where you can choose CITY-level MOBILE proxies at THIS pricing. All words matter.
