If you're acting as a private person, it's possible to place an order without a VAT number - but then extra VAT will be added to your final price. That's all due to legal reasons.
If you're based outside of the EU, it's not necessary to add a VAT number - and then you shouldn't be asked about adding a VAT number.

If you want to be setup as a Private Person in Bazoom Platform, then DM me and we'll figure it out.

You're not doing something wrong.
We have been using PayPal before, but we've decided to longer use it.
Also, the Payment Terms in the OP are actually wrong.
I've requested a thread edit, and it will soon be changed to these three options:

Credit Card
Credits in the account
Sepa direct debit
