We've seen a lot of people mentioning on here how difficult it is to run TikTok in an emulator.

Would anyone be interested in discussing with us what you'd look for if you'd be willing to rent a real device to run TikTok? This would be a UK Samsung phone with its own SIM card. Then a screen share to use TikTok, or an API to press keystrokes and swipes on the device like a real user would.

We're not offering anything for sale here, just want to understand if there's a market for this and what it might look like.

I don't think so there we will be any service like this and if there is it will cost a lot.

We already have the hardware. But we'd want to know what (if anything) people would pay for this service so we can understand whether to put together a sales thread on BHW to sell it.

i found these type of service before. i remember those device are rented by days or months and its really expensive. a lot of users who would use these service are from china.

If you can have a really low price, scale it and still make money, you'd have something.

i have seen these systems in vietnam and china but i think if you leave the hardware in uk the cost will be very high

Depends on the price I think. As @Richichi mentioned, an entry level android phone and a prepaid sim card would cost around 70$ here. Not sure if it is worth the hassle to rent. :)

New device, fake gps location use tiktok without simcard gives the same result
Honestly, I'd rather just buy a simple phone that I'm able to flip later instead of renting a device.
Thought as much. this can be profitable but the intinatl cost will be be hudge

Really interesting points everyone!

what is the price ?
No concrete pricing (or plans to launch at all), but considering buying the devices, power/network/redundancy it would need be in the region of $20 - $30/mo, or less if you took for a longer period. But again, definitely not something we'd be able to offer right now.

Agreed! It's similar to 4G/5G mobile proxies - some prefer to do themselves, and some prefer to pay someone to deal with the hassle for them. At small scale you will best be served doing it yourself.

Yes, there is a high capital cost - but we have already have the devices so that is why this idea came up.
