Looks like december update got me.

Well I thought I was in the clear but yesterday it looks like I might have been hit by Google latest update. I'm still ranking for a few different keywords but a few of my main keywords (important ones) just dropped from the top 100.

The content is legit but I'm guessing it is from the link building. The pages that dropped are the ones that I was link building for. It's only been 2 days so I'm going to wait and see what happens, sometimes rankings jump drastically with these updates and then level back out.

If anyone has any advice around the latest updates feel free to share.

No technical issues I was able to spot, no crawl errors, load times are good, no security issues.

Hard for me to know if the content is high quality because that's really an opinion, it is unique though and not copied or AI generated.

Positions were between 15 - 25 now they are now gone from tracking so below 100. No messages I know of from webmaster but will check again just in case.

2. After a couple of weeks have gone by and nothing has changed, try disavowing the toxic links and then wait a few weeks.

3. If that doesn't work, you can try buying a new domain and then redirect the old one to the new one. Yes, it will take some time. But at least you wont start from scratch. Of course, only do this if you want to salvage the site.

Same here. I had bought some backlinks from here and other places to rank certain pages higher, they are now gone, and also not able to index new pages. But other not relevant pages are still indexed in Google. Also seeing a huge drop in views, fingers crossed.

I will wait for 2 weeks and starting disavoving the backlinks and consider next steps.

Sounds like a good plan. Will prefer to keep the site/domain so hopefully I can fix this if needed.

I ranked #1 spot on Bing and the ranking dint even move a bit for almost 2 years now.

Too bad Bing dint bring much clicks.

I had the opposite effect. Google loves me. Here's one of my newer blackhat only websites (6 months old) after the latest update. (It's eCommerce so traffic and keywords will be much lower than a blog). Message me if you need any advice, I would be glad to see if I can help.
