ChatGPT + Online games = win

At the beginning I wanna make clear, this is not cheating nor any illegal activity, this is 100% within the rules.

Okay so, what is happening here.

I'm not a so much active player nowadays, but the guild im a part of is doing some semi competitive World of Warcraft raid racing (not with the top teams) and I used to write the weakaura codes to them sometimes.

And just for fun I tried what chatGPT would react if I asked it to write me a weakaura:

As an avid World of Warcraft player, I understand the reference and am willing to translate to those unfamiliar.

Weak Aura's essentially tell you when a mechanical event is happening in World of Warcraft - this is done through something called an "Add-On" these addons are LUA written scripts which can serve any multitude of purposes, weak aura's are essentailly just data, displayed in various ways on your screen as a means of being helpful. (A lot goes on while playing an MMO)

Chat GPT being able to do this, doesn't surprise me at all / as you can ask it relatively any question related to bare bones programming and it'll be able to assist you. For fun, I was making mock up portfolio sites HTML / CSS using chat GPT just to see how far it could go. I got even incredible things such as responsive sliders, and uniquely styled sliders to come out through using creative prompt ideas.

Any game that has a legal "scripting" part, can be written now with chatGPT, besides regular programing languages, it seems like chatgpt learned the game languages too.

The fact that it understands and writes codes for game plugins, that are soooo nothing like general programing languages.
