Why do People HATE Elon Musk so much?

People usually follow what others do. They saw the hate in news and they decided to do it aswell. Typical sheep mentality, it makes them feel cool being the ones woke about it.

spot-on

I don't hate him.
He's good, rich. He also invented many things, many people call him the successor of Tesla

Because he shilled coin/pump and dump so many people didn't like him .

Here in Brazil, most people don't like him because he bought Twitter and dismissed the employees who were friends with the 'influencers' in Brazil.
Elon Musk fired the employee who was a partner of several impartial journalists and influencers. It went something like this: People in my circle received a blue badge even though they had 10 followers and people who weren't received a suspension.
The monopoly of these officials is over.

The answer is not because he is successful, that's an illusion.

Actually issue is self-reflection. World is filled with self-haters.

They hate everything, and media don't. Media is exploiting user behavior to earn money.

Elon is only goal in life is to earn money. Nothing else

Because he is just another puppet for the right.
Gates=Left, Musk=Right
They're just characters keeping the show going.

Challenging Putin to a 'fight', constantly besmirching russia's efforts, helping Nato with their operations and so on... Where are you getting this idea he's 'right'?

Because he has money, and we are essential hobos infront of him
and people in general can't stand to be lesser of anything than someone else.

Okay so he's a leftie.

To answer the question OP, the only thing I don't really like about Musk specifically, is what I think is some visible display of hypocrisy and double standards...

If he get's twitter, then he is the greatest tweeter the world has ever seen, if he doesn't then it's a bot-ridden cesspit of spam and shit posting.
If he get's access to the Hadron Collider then 'his' technological prowess meant he was entitled to be in such big leagues of technology all along and you shouldn't have even batted an eyelid about it, if he doesn't then it's 'demonic technology unlike which the world has never seen' brace yourselves...
If someone accepts his invitation to use his submarine to save kids stranded in a cave then it's case in point that he does and only ever has been striving to make the world a better place through his technology, if the guy refuses then he's obviously a paedo for even being in Thailand in the first place...

That's the way i'm seeing it anyway. I mean for all the talk about people being jealous of him, he clearly does seem to often have some case of 'crab-bucket' mentality himself.

Also for the record, I think that 'paedo guy' what ever his name was, was wrong for slapping him in the face like that. Pure disrespect but i'll use it for the sake of context here because I can't be bothered digging up some other examples that didn't spring to mind.
