You'll need a different targeting strategy for a video course vs a physical product. The technique is the similar, and if you know how to find your audience, it shoulnd't be that much of an issue.


I would avoid crypto for the time being.
At the moment they are banned on TikTok (and of course there's way to go around that and promote them anyway), but it might change in the future and open up.

For now, I would just stick to physical products because they're easy to promote and almost guarantee a profit if done following the strategy.
Once you get a return on your ad spend and you learn the ropes, then you can go apply your skills and try a different avenue with digital products or crypto.

I have been doing affiliate marketing for a couple years now, all on Facebook ads. My total spending since I started is now well over 100k, with a budget of about 10k per month spent on FB Ads (on different accounts on different BMs):

A couple weeks ago I started moving some budget from FB to TikTok Ads to experiment there and see if selling there is just as easy, but with vertical video ads:

These are CPA/CPL campaigns, they pay out 16/20€ per lead, so there's a nice 2x to 3x ROI.
For comparison, this is the same product being sold on FB Ads:

There's the same 6/8€ cost per lead, which in turn nets me 16/20€.

If you are stuck on FB Ads getting banned/unbanned/restricted and are tired of having to farm accounts, start looking into TikTok Ads.

For digital products you cannot just have a broad targeting and hope that the algorithm finds the right audience, so you have to be more precise in targeting with interests, hashtags etc.

The networks I'm on are adding so many products recently that it's a bonanza, you just have to choose one that you like and promote it, for example:

2m led strip, the client pays 40€, you get 15€ per lead (with tolerance added, so you get paid even for the non-confirmed leads).

or the following offer from a different network:

you sell the product for 49,90€ but you get 25€ per confirmed lead!


With my guide you can start promoting these offers in less than 1 hr, or 2 hrs if you need to make a landing page from scratch.

You can start with the least amount, so about 20-50/day ($ or €). I would suggest at least 50/day, and leave it up for at least a few days to see if it finds the right audience and start converting.

It's not that hard, you can create a basic Wordpress website and just create a single landing page to promote a product.

Maybe the creative wasn't the right one for the target, in EU I had good ROI with air coolers in the summer and electric heaters in the winter.
