Whats up with the forums?

Its taking 20 - 30 seconds for a forum thread to open up when i click on a topic. Sometimes, the thread i want to read doesnt open up and i end up cancelling out of it by clicking on BACK. It just sits there doing nothing all that time and its very annoying. Its not coming from my end as i do not have these issues elsewhere.

It happenes on every thread and its been a continual problem for at least 5 days now.

Can somebody verify this?

Either a forum reindex or a mysql restart is in order.

Although mine doesn't seem quite as bad as you, I can verify it happens to me also.

edit: Plus for some reason, nearly everyday around midnight the site goes 'offline' for a few minutes it seems.

We upgraded the server several days ago which should have made things faster but there maybe some other issue.

Yes, that happens to me as well once in a while for the last several days. And it's not coming from my end either.

Was having the same problems over the last few days and when you go to reply to a thread it hangs for ever and did duplicate posts on me once, but today I've found it much better in fairness, a lot more responsive.

Still having the same issues after posting the OM.

... also, when i click on the SEARCH link nothing happens. Thats the search link at the top of the forums beside New Posts and Quick Links. Rather, i have to right click on the search link and open it in a NEW WINDOW or NEW TAB before i can do any searches.

Very frustrating.

problem seems to be fixed now on my end,

a little tip for everyone who is experiencing problems, hold down
" ctrl F5" repeatedly,

and if that doesn't work, change your ip address and repair your modem settings.

yes, the site went down for a few hours, i guess they were fixing the issue and it seems everything fine now from my end, bhw is fast as hell
