How To Gain Any Traffic?

Hello again, and Happy Holidays​

I've had a blog website for a just around a week now, i make posts to it etc, and my question is how do i gain traffic? So far i've attempted to make backlinks and all has failed
I've posted my website on do-follow backlinks sites e.g buzzfeed (made a little post about my website) & many more (can't name them all) and it says i only have one backlink? (this confuses me)
What do i need to do to drive traffic? I don't want 10k-50k i just want at ~ 10 people (this would make me happy and i'd see it as proof i can achieve some traffic)
I make sure to put information on the image, use the specific keywords in the blog, use specific keywords on the title, specific keywords everywhere. But i have no idea how to even gain one viewer

Just keep going. Check if your post are already indexing.
If you need to force traffic, it would probably not be a worthy niche.

I won't stop until i become comfortable with the amount of traffic, i don't like quitting. It's just really confusing as to how i haven't gained ONE SINGLE VIEW!, but cheers for the advice bud, and i gave your post a read, makes me know that i'm not the only one that has to go through the frustration.

1. make really interesting content in your niche and optimize pages with long tail keywords
2. get 10 backlinks, blog or forum comments
3. wait about 1-2 month or better keep doing it

Social media is the quickest way to build up some kind of traffic. You can check my past posts for a journey I sadly abandoned, but where I was getting thousands of people on my site every day just from social media. As far as backlinks, make sure they are indexed in GSC. There are some guides on BHW on how to build links if you search.

In my opinion: as long as the websites you target get a lot of traffic (like bhw) and you write a meaningful article, readers will click on the link and find your website.

You always have to point higher, than what you ever can achieve.

Like if you say 10 people would make you happy, then I dont think the competitive blogging is the way of online presence you should go for.

Just take a minute and read some blogging journeys here on BHW. You’ll need to wait atleast 3-4 weeks before seeing any clicks / impressions. Backlinks can help to speed up the progress, but I wouldn’t recommend doing that now. Just keep posting quality content.

- Low competition niche
- Keyword research
- 50 - 120 articles
- wait 2-3 months

Well in the beginning its very hard for a beginner with seo
My advice its to work hard as much as you can : write as many articles as you can ,but not only this you must combine it with learning
Watch on youtube what other people do ,search expert on seo field and read their information and you will be surprized on how many tricks you can find

well i don't wanna stop yet because i haven't achieved 10 people, and i understand the meaning behind this but i'm not gonna instantly shoot high since i don't know what i'm doing, i want to gain 10 people than 100 than 1k than 10k etc

I didn't realise it would take that long, but now i am happy in understanding that i cannot achieve such clicks just a week down the line and thank you for giving me your formula that's very kind

You can also take traffic from social media platforms. But make posts in relevant groups only otherwise it will increase bounce rate on website.
