Best Domain Register service?

Is there even a best one or there are top 10 of them the best?
Which one do you recommend and why?
Also, my sister lives in Europe, and she is going to lunch her new shoe shop ^^ which domain register do you recommend for her?

Or wait for a second... I just saw on google that google offers domain register services... :O should I go with them? Please help!

domain registration is all about price, there isnt really a top 10. just gotta check out renewal price.
most places offer $1.99 registration, but then renewal is like $30 and thats where u transfer it to another registrar.
if your sister lives in europe though, i think WEDOS is the cheapest there. As mentioned above though, namecheap and namesilo are normally the cheapest.
but again, there is no real difference between registrars, its the hosting that really matters.

Is her website for local sales or international? If local use a country specific domain. Otherwise .Com from Namebright or Namesilo and hosting locally in her country if local sales and country domain.
