Hello guys, I was inactive for several years from CPA and now I just want to start CPA again.
So my question is how do you rank long videos in youtube, is it like the old days only with views likes and comments or have something else which I don't know?

First need check if query needs long video. maybe query not wants long videos. and if so, will be difficult rank. if is ok, need good retention and last click like everything good ctr too.

Keyword research, write thorough descriptions. Be sure to check your competition as well and try to find topics with limited similar videos. Always use some form of your keywords in the title. Don’t forget to focus on Google search too because many videos show up there. Good luck!

With youtube pushing shorts as enabling monetizing, I suggest more on youtube shorts right now., Shorts videos are the new trend in all social media, it is getting easier to rank than long keyword videos.

Make sure you use tubebuddy or vidiq to maximise title, and description and keywords
