Banned from YouTube

Woke up this morning with an email from YouTube saying my channel has been disabled because it was LINKED with another channel that got disabled for 3 copyright strikes.

I had about 15 channels under the one google account. The 1 channel that got disabled for the copyright strikes happened yesterday. But now, because I also manage 14 other accounts, they also banned the other 14 accounts even though they didn't do anything wrong. I had millions of subscribers combined and spend nearly $200K in production of videos.

I submitted an appeal, and this is what they said:

This is completely UNJUST and UNFAIR that they penalise all other channels that have nothing to do with the one channel that performed the copyright strikes!

Are you supposed to have ONE google account PER CHANNEL just to be safe and protect the others?

It's like you get arrested for speeding, and they arrest all of the people that live in your house as well because they live with you.

I can't even submit a copyright appeal to the one that got the strikes, because I just keep getting redirected to this page. I was also subscribed to youtube premium, and I can't even watch any video anymore.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, did you have any luck getting your accounts back?

Money was spent on the legitimate channels. The one channel that was used for experimentation is the one that got the copyright strikes.

Google / Youtube believes that each account is associated with a single person, and that person should be held accountable for all actions.

This is how Yt works to be safe, you must have one channel with one email account

Yt don't care if the channel has one subscriber or a million they are taking copyright issue seriously

You have only one option reach out to the one who gave the strike recently and ask them to remove the strike so you can recover all channels associated with the account (check emails)

Yeah YouTube does that.
Once one of your channels are terminated, you are not allowed to own another channel.
Here is what they say happens when you get terminated.

• Your account, along with any associated channels, is subject to termination.

• You can't create new channels.

Have you clicked on that "Contact us" and see what or where you get ?
From what you already tried, did you use the https://support.google.com/youtube/contact/accountdisabled ? You will have to be logged in, in order to see the form.
If you have not yet done that, then do so by following https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2802168?hl=en closely.
NOTE : Your "Channel ID" is NOT the same as your "Custom URL", so please fill the form EXACTLY as they expect. See https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/3250431?hl=en.
In the box where you need to explain things, if the terminations were for a valid reason, then accept the blame and pledge to reform. If the terminations were not for a valid reason, then explain that it seems to be an algorithmic error that just needs to be reviewed.
If your channels were large enough, you may have access to https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/3545535?hl=en. In that case try that option as well.
If nothing works, then you may tweet @ (at) TeamYouTube with one honest tweet & then request everybody you know to retweet that.

Yeh brand accounts still a lot of them were not banned yet so I added my other gmail account as an owner, that seemed to work, i have half the accounts back now.

This will never work

Have faced similar situation, all they tell you is to ask the copyright holder to revoke the strike

Yt mail clearly say channel terminated since its linked to channel disabled for copyright strike

Never link your legitimate channels with blackhat channels under one Gmail account. I won't be surprised if Google starts suspending other gmails too based on IP & other fingerprints in the near future.

This is exactly what I was about to answer. You beat me to it. From my own experience: I used once less than a minute from some obscure heavy metal track to introduce a video. The label complained, but I appealed to the musician himself, an old UK guy who proved cool enough to let me send his contact to YT in order to prove that he didn't care at all, and I could use his stuff freely. Ban lifted. It's the ONLY solution, imho.

You should contact YouTube regarding this. Make sure to tweet publicly and tag YouTube. This will make them more likely to reply to you. I would also recommend using a Mobile Proxy with each account and different devices per account in the future to avoid the chain ban issue.

this is way you need more google adsense accounts its to much of a risk

Yes, and don't forget to tag them on TWITTER, too! They will be the more reactive if you use a decent Twitter account.

Happened to me last month. I decided to test out the adobe illustrator niche with CPA.
The channel was only connected to one other channel on same gmail.
THANK GOD!
Ban arrived after I started getting clicks on my cpa website.
I emailed everyone from google I could find online. Got no response NO MATTER WHAT I said. Apart from one person.
Managed to get someone to reply to my email but they just told me crap to shut me up. Gaslighting.
They don't care about your channel at all my bro.
NO MATTER how much you go blue in the face trying to contact them.

Youtube are WORSE THAN Nazi Pedophiles.

Now I just keep one channel per GMAIL. That's the golden rule!
