What do I do after my backlinks have been built?

I am looking at a KW on ahrefs that says it only needs 10 backlinks to rank #1 for this KW. It has a KD of less than 10, and a search volume/traffic of over 2k/mo.

I have never built backlinks before, literally. So i am not sure how to approach this, no matter how much i learned on here and youtube ,etc. So i come to you guys in hope of something

Basically this is my thought process right now. I create the main post for the keyword on my moneysite. Once the post is finished/published on the moneysite, now i can create backlinks. But this is where i am not sure. If i create 20 links or so total, spread throughout tier 1 - tier 3, what do i do with the links afterwards? -- I can put them into an index tool of course right? But then after they go into the indexer tool and "drip", now what? Do i go to link exchanges and put the tiered sites into their to get traffic to them? Or do i put the money site into the link exchanges and get traffic to that? ( but i dont want to track data on moneysite from traffic that is manipulated), or what other options are there?

What do you think? I am just typing different ideas but im not sure... Help?

Build 11 links, and be top of the heap and retire to St Kitts sipping cocktails on the beach and hope your rivals never gt any more links.

The best advice = hire an agency.

The best advice? I dont know what paradigm you operate in or what perspective you take, but that is not the best advice. The best advice i think would be information on how to execute and knowledge that would empower us?

Lemme take a stab at it.
It means that site has x number of links from y sites.
It don't mean if you get x+1 links you will rank one. But you may since backlinks are most important ranking factor among 500 ranking factors.
Ahrefs is build based on backlinks so it does all predictions based on links. This is increasingly unpredictable due to wild swing in the way google algo works.
But again backlinks are the best way to predict in the long run, so there you have it, ahrefs the best among the lot(semrush, moz etc) but not always the best predictor.

There is a trick that not many people know, and is going into the Marketplace and hiring someone who does this job for you.

Basically, you want a button to perform an action on what people has been professionalizing for years.

Not possible. An good KW Researcher, tries to find KW with low competence or at least a competence that can be beaten with the resources we have. So if I have a client with $200/mo for backlinks, and I feel I will be investing mostly in medium quality links, mostly guests posts in this case and maybe 1 PBN, then I will look to keywords with top results with an historic data of not investing more than this (although be aware that you cannot see PBN in the URL profiles, so this is a permarisk you will have to always deal with, at worst you may end on #2 or #3 if the top are using powerful PBN broadly with bigger budget than you).

There are lot of things like tier 3 linkbuilding. Or in other words building links for these backlinks to make them more powerful.

depend does all your competitor only have like 2 - backlink on that keyword?
if yes than 11 is enough probably, 11 from good legit website with real traffic
