Twitter accounts doing 12,000 retweets PER MONTH?

Found a couple accounts that enter every random giveaway on twitter without getting banned.

Meanwhile some accounts have problem doing barely any actions without phone verification requests and email verification requests.

does someone have an explanation on how is this possible, or is it just random?
or perhaps the reason is because they are doing this manually through twitter app and not automation tool?

Is using the twitter API the problem? Is there a way to use web requests for automation on twitter if the API is such a problem?

I thinj they r just giveaway bots to lure people to pay for a follow post.
I think yes, could be via API but not sure how they avoid bans, could be clean 4g ips and fresh devices etc

Using the API is a redflag, you're basically telling twitter you're automating, and how you're doing it ;-)

They are bot options that run on VPS, I use twitterdub

But still, with all of this taken into consideration, how can they do this volume and not get banned is mind boggling to me.
I am using 4g proxies and I would be incredibly happy to get 5% of their monthly tweets with no bans or suspension.

Definitely make instead of buy, and grow them naturally for 7 to 14 days

do you recommend "warming up" for the first week or two or let it "sit and rest" for a week or two?

some people say there is no need for "warming up" or "aging" your accounts, while others disagree

ill give it a try.

Never tried making my own accounts for automation.

Im using 4g proxies, and twitterdub for automation btw.

You should try it, because the more oranic it feels to twitter, the more likely it won't get banned for mass dm or something like that.

The actions I have been doing have all been organic-looking.
I dont use DM at all
dont use mass tagging either.

only doing small amounts of retweet, follow and like.

thats why its very weird to me when I get banned or suspended, but it might be the account quality or
maybe even more the fact that before I switched to 4G proxies I was running these accounts on RESIDENTIAL proxies...

My goal isnt to find out how they make money, it is to understand how can they do this amount of traffic without getting banned / suspended.

I have no idea if they are making money or how they are doing it.

I think you pointed out the problem.

1. You did mention that your accounts were ran on residential ip address once or twice.
Create new accounts with 4g proxies. (no cookies, no automation, no local storage, yes new profile)
Take automated actions, and see if they get banned.

2. The problem could also be the program you are using.
I would separate your accounts to 2 groups. With 10 accounts each.
Group 1 actions automatically,
Group 2 actions manually.
Compare the two groups and share with us.

I mean if they’re doing all them retweets and have a small audience to show them retweets too, what’s the purpose in having them accounts?
