Still using LastPass? Better go find a better alternative !

I dunno why ppl keep using lastpass after so many hacks lol.

Here’s an open source alternative to lastpass

Code:
https://github.com/bitwarden

If you don’t want to self host, they have premium/free hosted option too. Not affiliated.

Yeah I moved from lastpass like 5-6 years ago now and never looked back. KeePassXC and Bitwarden are the best alternatives.

LastPass is still the best password manager.
I'm using Bitwarden. It's good, but not good as Lastpass.
sometimes Bitwarden doesn't recognize new login to save, it doesn't auto fill.
Bitwarden android app is not working with Firefox/Brave mobile browser. I have to open the app, copy and paste into the browser.
Bitwarden seems slower than Lastpass
I will keep using Bitwarden because Lastpass free only works on 1 device. But Lastpass is by far the best password manager imo.
About the hack, Lastpass doesn't store any passwords on their server. The hack will only affect the email people create Lastpass account, not their Vault.

Best at getting hacked and breached.
Name another PM that got hacked twice in 1 year.
Also, would you really blindly believe them it's safe. Considering their other "security" features are "weak" as fuck. Or someone is leaking data for $$
Either way, either it's shit or its corrupted.
Let's not forget in 2019, they leaked credentials
https://www.zdnet.com/article/lastpass-bug-leaks-credentials-from-previous-site/Or 2021 when Masterpasswords which access vaults were leaked too reported by its users which they denied
https://www.zdnet.com/article/lastp...mised-or-credentials-harvested-after-reports/lmfao still gud?

if i'm a hacker, i'll focus on a key that has all the keys.

Enpass is an alternative if you want a local password manager. It is a little more featureful and you can choose to keep your encrypted database on your own machine or upload it to the cloud of your choice (gdrive, onedrive, nextcloud etc). So it's totally up to you where your data goes.

It is free for desktop. Mobile needs a subscription though.

1password is good too. Yeah, its closed source but they never got breached and is very well known.

I still have Lastpass account. I imported from Lastpass to Bitwarden.
All passwords I created on Lastpass password generator, I neither see any suspicious activity on any account nor do some private emails get leaked on the public breach database, so I GUESS my vault is still safe till now.
As I said before, I'm using Bitwarden, not so happy with it, but it's open source and free, and that's enough.

that is why we dont tust lastpass types of website we store passwords in our own mine
