DP is fine, the high number of idiots makes it easier to sell.

Also try DNforum, Warrior Forum, Sedo, most domain registrars.

Flippa IMO is the best by a mile though.

Yeah flippa is great, I cant believe it is an Australian Company based just up the road from me!

any one tried selling on ebay? is it any good place to flipp..i never tried ebay ..what was your experience?:moony:

Have recently found http://www.faceflippa.com/
I am flipping a few of my facebook fan pages on there

Flippa is bloody expensive for low cost sites though. Listing fees can easily get to $50 before bidding even begins, whether the site sells or not. Bloody expensive.

True - I usually account for $52 (featuring, highlighting and listing) + success fees (so another $20 or so). Just means instead of selling for $197 I'll sell for $297 instead...

There is no marketplace as big as Flippa for websites if you're talking quantity of sales. If you're talking high-end sales, very few happen in Flippa, they happen in bizquest, businessesforsale, sunbeltnetwork and other business listing sites.

Apart from Flippa, there's DP, and there are numerous other webmaster forums like V7N etc that are free. A simple Google search for "website selling forums" should lead you to them. But consider less conventional methods - try posting a page on your own site with a link from the homepage. Existing visitors may be interested ... and those who try Google for terms like "this website is for sale". There are also numerous website brokers who'll take your site on if it's a certain value.

eBay is total crap when it comes to website sales, don't waste your time

yes, ebay is total waste of time. There seems to be sellers sellling for $0.01 a website and god knows how they make profit. I guess signing up for their hosting. Neverthless total crap for selling established sites.
