Mobile proxies detected as anonymous/anonymizer ... How?

I am getting a little pissed with this vendor who happens to have a sales thread here but I'm not going into details for now.

How is it possible that mobile 4G connection get listed under anonymous/anonymizer just as VPNs?

Mobile proxies are dynamic so this means they need to list the entire range of mobile IPs under anonymous, unless the seller actually sells residential proxies and only labels them as mobile? Is that correct?

ISP has been listed as Vodafone, now the thing is that Vodafone offers regular wifi/lan connections too, so can the seller label their residential proxy service as mobile and charge x 30 fees on this?

It was hours ago. Can't get the same proxy back.

Yeah I've been thinking that too that perhaps it's a false positive but after seeing some Trustpilot reviews I'm not so sure.

Probably there are some rules based on traffic from those IPs which marks them as proxies or a bug in their detection, same as with whoer.

All depends on your use case, if you need to use clean IPs - its always a good idea to create your own local IP checkers to see if you did not have assigned previously abused IP.

Lol I know that myself and it's pretty obvious. This is why the entire thread was created for.

I shouldn't even be surprised that this happens. I saw that coming a mile away as this is what usually comes with dealing with these proxy sellers.. It's a standard.

Bought different SIMs all over Europe and activated the roaming and used that some time ago... I guess I need to go back to the old school route

10 GB = 10 Euros via roaming SIMs

10 GB = 300 USD from the current proxy seller.

Whoer.net may or may not show "Anonymizer" as "Yes" or "No", based on the browser and/or even settings in the browser and "Anonymizer" as "Yes" or "No" has nothing to do with the proxy.
Do 1 thing, go to browser settings and select to block all cookies and also enable "do not track" and then close and reopen the browser (with proxy enabled) and check at Whoer.net, it would show Anonymizer as "No". This is not an ideal browser setting though. Something (sometimes some addon, etc, etc, etc) or some other setting in your browser is making Whoer.net to show "Anonymizer" as "Yes".

By exit nodes I assume you meant if the ISP & DNS records are all coming from the original country? Then yes.

Does not apply to me I'm using anti-detect tools/emulators not my regular browser.

The do not tracks and other things can be configured obviously but it has nothing to do with that. If those small things were the case then it probably would leak DNS as well which does not happen.

It's in the proxies because most of the time the proxies do seem to work as intended. The proxies work more or less with Tier 1 countries only but when I wander away from there I start to get shit. The support already mentioned that they "might" offer wifi residential connections inside the mobile package. It's very confusing to talk with them because the customer service reps don't know themselves as they don't deal with the technical parts usually.

Yeah I might need to do that.

I am quite confident that the seller cuts some corners too. It's quite evident at this point as checking their sales thread and Trustpilot then other people had similar issues.

Here is on partial review:

One thing that bugs me about Oxylabs and Luminati is that they use IPs from Cogent Communications in some areas, and Cogent is basically datacenter on a DSL modem. These Cogent IPs really suck and can lead to accounts hitting checkpoints.

This had to be a somewhat partial positive review of the service where a buyer claimed that this "my supplier" didn't use Cognet Communications but when I ran extended dnsleaktest.com then the same name popped up. So they do mix some residential proxies inside these mobile packages.

It's very hard to be sure and the time and bandwidth it takes to do all these checks empties my account severely. Most of the data goes to the IP tests and not for my actual usage for what it was intended for. Very tiring.
