I already have a copy of winautomation sitting on my hard drive and i just started to play with it. However i think it may take a while until i'm able to do what i want using the tool and after i've read this THREAD i'm thinking that Ubot with all the support may be a better choice. What you guys think ?

i bought ubot to help me - I know nothing about programming nor is that my background.

the thing is they say watch the videos and you will learn how to make bots .. well those describe how to make simple entry level bots.

when it comes to making fully functional bots that actually you use - then you have to learn alot more advanced commands than what is illustrated... this may be easy for someone who knows what they are doing but not for me.

there's a user here on BHW Gogetta - he has helped me alot and I would not have come close to finishing some of the things I've done without him - I literally could have spent a week of wasted time - without his problem solving.

so yes it's good - would I buy it again ? yes - but don't think that you can just go from day one - there's more to it than that.

Well, depends on what you'll be needing it for. UBOT and iMacros are geared towards internet based stuff. WA is more of a Windows client, like the old batch scripts, only more advanced.

But why don't you try iMacros firts, if you don't want to shell out $200 just for the fun of it. It can do pretty much what uBot does, except the if/else/then statements, which are pretty cool, but depending on what your background is and what you need to do, you can do without them.

So, basically, if you're going to create simple bots like account creators, then iMacros is your best choice. (I've personally done several acc creators in less than an hour with it)

BUT if you'd like to create more complicated bots like, then you should take a look at uBot. But, be warned, the fact that you don't need to know programming doesn't mean you won't need to spend hours of learning and trying to figure things out.

uBot has lots of features and it takes time to learn to use them properly. Other than that, it's an incredible tool.

Thank you both guys. I was just thinking about that. For both tools there will be a learning curve anyways i know that. However it seems that i would have more hands holding mine with Ubot. And correct me if i'm wrong...Later on i can build some applications and put up for sale as well. I'm not thinking about IM tools though my intention is to target regular computer users...Good idea ?
As for my first project ( and private use ) i would like to create a bot that will post on a couple dozen forums everyday.. Is it going to be hard to accomplish ?

Didn't quite catch what you meant.

On to your second question: Yes you can, I was actually going to mention it. You CAN make bots and sell them. It's fairly easy with all the lazy people around these days. (Very simple sidereel scripts were selling for as much as $200.)

On the posting process, I don't think it would be that hard. You would just need to learn a few basic stuff.

But, the way I see it, you can make the following:

1) Bot logs in at the forum (very easy to do, you can even do it with random accounts if you'd like)

2) Bot picks a comment/message from a csv file you specify and posts on forum. (Now, here you can go wild - you can have one single message that you can post, or you can write several messages, put them all in a .csv and rotate them randomly/one by one)

2.1) Bot waits ~10-60 seconds before posting so that it's not detected as a bot

3) Bot logs out.

Fairly simple stuff.

You can even do a reg bot for these forums with predefined values (nick name/password) and then use that for the logins.

Yeah you hit the nail right on the head !
as for hands holding mine i'm referring to their support team and why not to say you guys around here as well ;)
I really think i'll get it in a week or so. I just need to finish some other things first so i don't get distracted...
Thank you so much !

But, just to be sure, you can do all that for free - with iMacros (the cracked Scripting edition, which is currently available in the Member Downloads section).

Don't just shell out money for the sake of it. I've often found myself wanting to buy a tool just because I subconsciously think that, just because I spend money on it, it would be MUCH greater. More often than not, it isn't.

As I said earlier, try iMacros, see if it's good for your needs and then decide if you would buy it or not.

I get you.. But... can i create little aps with user interface and all that ? How easy/hard is it to learn ?

Would it be safe to say that after spending a day with the videos you couild learn how to make these simple bots?

I will probably look into getting a similar program off the member downloads section, I think iMacros was mentioned somewhere.

Kind Regards,

Well.. Ubot is not an easy program to learn for a average, or below average person. Some people are interested in purchasing the program because they see the potential that it has. Yes, it can do some really great things, and yes.... you can make $$$ with it on both ends (programming side, and creation side), but you will really have to stick in there, and learn the program.

As dumb as it sounds, the biggest issue for me was just learning how to make the thing click a button in a browser, and realizing that you have to follow the steps exactly as they are explained to you. If you do not follow exact parameters in the program, your code will not work. (Youll see)

Also, you may find that some of the tutorials go Waaaaay too fast, and are generally made by people that have a vast knowledge of PHP scripting and such, therefore, their speed in "teaching" seems normal to them.

On the other side, now that I have taken the time to really learn the program, I am building bots with ease. Now I have winautomation and ubots.. Use them together, and BOOM! (John Madden voice)

Good luck

Do my tutorials on ubottutorials go too fast? I always try to slow it down so I am not flying through them. But your right I have PHP experience and I know how to code. Just wondering if I go too fast also. :)

This thread is a good example of showing a Information Product need screaming to be made.

Squeeze page for free DL of guide to make you own bots and
Make sure the free guide shows "It is NOT that easy to do" then, contact information about how YOU can build a bot FOR them for a fee :) list examples of useful time saving bots already made by you, or others.

Are there any "good" training videos that shows how to program these?
It sounds like a lot of time is necessary to just get to a beginner level much less to become and expert.

Thanks!
JB

There are some

Also some free coded ones. I made these for the purpose of people getting the code and making their own and not really for people downloading and using since I didnt make it perfect. But you can still download and test them out.

hey since u guys are talkin about bots ive been trying to get experienced ppls opinion of this thing here: handsfreemarketer com is this really any good???

ubot sucks it's all buggy and shit and the way you create bots with it will take 5-10 days of learning vb.net to know all what ubot does and you can create it twice as better and bug free...

I have a cracked uBot on my PC but I've never really gotten to use it.. the interface alone is difficult to me, lol. I've heard good things about webdominator as well, you might want to look into that, there's more coding options. While the 'visual coding' of uBot may seem appealing at first, its not like you're going to code a new CL poster from it, to do that, you do need coding skills imho.

I have played with both, both are slow for me. I've using PHP/CURL for 5 years nothing better for multiplatform web automation If I need to automate local applications I use Autohotkey, faster, free and marvelous

Well I am considering buying it but probably waiting till the next update is finished see for yourself how easy it can be to make bots with the new update:

Code:

Also many of you who say it's buggy as hell and such. Maybe it's because you are using the cracked version?
