Hello,
I have a project which I started back in 2018. The project is an app. The niche is interessting because in my country, there is just one competitor and there are over hundred thousand search requests. I developed the app but it was not very successfull because of some technical limitations etc. and my landingpage with some articles was banned from Google. They saw that I probably bought some backlinks (I had perhaps 40 or 50 backlinks). Before they banned me, I had few hundred vistors per day. However, I used the deindexing tool from Google to deindex my backlinks and I did a request to reindex my website. It took almost 12 months and Google removed the bann. My old website is ranking since then again in Google for the keywords starting from the third to fith page.

I wanted to start this project again. Some years went by and I have now more developing experience and there are no more technical limitations for the app anymore. Back then I got also a request if I want to sell my app, even when it was not successful like it could be.

I would like to get the first position for the keyword with my landingpage. I thought about getting an expired domain. But I'm not sure, what to do with it to get the best result.

- Do a 301 redirect to my existing project domain? I saw some guys are selling here good domains in the computer niche for 1000$.
- Or recreate a website with some articles arround the keyword for the expired domain, wait and then place a link to my existing project?

Thank you for your help!

PBN would be a better option in your case. Redirecting domains with English anchors and history to a different language isn't ideal and there's a high chance that you will screw up your site.

PBN links that you control will be much safer than redirect. High precision rifle vs non zeroed artillery.

This option sounds safe for you. Also, 301 redirect never worked for me so I don't advocate for it.
Creating a natural-looking site and then giving a backlink would be great and should have the same effect but it will reduce your chances so that you don't screw up the site again.
