Theme recommendation for an informative site

Hi guys,

I’m looking to build an informative site which will be monetised by google adsense with some affiliated products.
Just curious which theme would be suitable?

Any theme would be fine, but I had to choose, I would always prefered something I could self-template without much code, like Elementor or Oxygen, or something that is lightweight like Generatepress.
But it doesn't matter if you want to choose any other Themeforest theme you particularly like
It's more about the plugins than the theme. For example, if you are planning to affiliate with Amazon, AAWP is an easy choice.

Elementor is good. Generate Press is also good.

i like to look at successful competitor information sites that are powered by WP.
look at their page source (or https://whatwpthemeisthat.com/) and see the theme they're using.
no reason to reinvent the wheel

While I agree with people above who recommended GeneratePress and Elementor, etc., OP do take a look at Astra Wordpress theme. It is also one of the fastest and lightweight theme one can have for informative blogs.

You can not go wrong with GeneratePress, GenerateBlocks and the default Gutenberg editor instead of Elementor if you want speed and future proofing your site.
