Which SMM panel? Is it guaranteed? I think its for submission only and you need to have PR coverage.

I've found that prices vary greatly depending on the type of account you're getting verified (artist/musician, author, entrepreneur, influencer, etc.)
Artists/musicians tend to be cheaper as the PR/online persona is easier to build out.
However, in ALL cases you need comprehensive PR. This is where the majority of your cost will come from.

3.5k is actually a pretty standard price for artists and athletes IF they already have the press. I basically go by the same prices for those categories. If they don't have any press at all, the price is typically double that and if we're talking about the notable public figure or brand categories, it's generally astronomically higher if having to be done from scratch.
The strange thing about buying it from an SMM panel tho is how would they review whether the case is eligible or not. I reject close to 75% of the cases I get so it'd be weird if they're just taking money upfront without even checking whether the person they're being paid to verify has even a tiny chance at meeting the notability criteria. Even if it isn't a scam, it'd just be stupid as hell to have to refund tens of thousands of dollars a month due to not pre-qualifying your customers.

I think he's referring to obtaining a google knowledge panel which doesn't require that much effort to do as a musician in the first place. You simply need to have an account with a distributor like Distrokid and you'll get one almost automatically.
